Scott began working full time for Valley Anesthesia in 2002 as Director of Education and is now Executive Vice President. Scott has 29 years teaching experience, including a 7-year stint as Assistant Professor of Nurse Anesthesia at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, where he taught Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry & Physics, and Statistics & Research Methods. Scott received an Excellence in Teaching award from Iowa State University and has presented at local, national and international conferences.
Andrew Teich, CRNA
Andrew joined Valley Anesthesia in 2012 as Director of Clinical Education and now serves as Vice President of Clinical Education. He received both his Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nurse anesthesia from Columbia University. Andrew has been a full time CRNA at the Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York City since 2002. He has lectured across the country at both state and national level meetings. Andrew enjoys working with students both clinically and academically and is passionate about helping his students achieve certification.
Sandi Mumford, CRNA
Sandi is Valley’s newest member, joining the faculty in 2015 as a Clinical Lecturer. She graduated from Georgetown University, fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a CRNA, an aspiration that was put on hold while she raised a family and traveled the world with her military dentist husband, John. Sandi worked for 5 years at Sinai Hospital (Baltimore, MD) and is now in Spokane, WA at Sacred Heart Medical Center as part of the Providence Medical Group. She enjoys the academic challenges that anesthesia presents and loves teaching and mentoring students and they prepare to become part of this great profession.
